- Does ACE insure personal watercraft, such as jet ski and waverunner models?
ACE offers a very competitive program for insuring personal watercraft (PWCs) throughout the United States. You may also go to the Applications & Forms page to view and print a personal watercraft application that outlines the program eligibility and provides easy rating instructions.
- Will ACE insure boats that are chartered?
ACE offers comprehensive policies for boat owners who charter their boats to others for private pleasure purposes, with six passengers or less. Whether the chartering exposure is occasional or full time, we have a policy to suit your customers’ needs. Eligibility for our charter policies is subject to underwriting criteria. - How do I obtain an insurance quotation?
If you are an appointed ACE Recreational Marine agent or broker, please use the Recreational Marine Contacts link to find the appropriate ACE office based upon your state location. If you are not an appointed ACE USA producer, please e-mail us and we can refer you to a recreational marine wholesale agent who represents ACE, or see below for more information about new agency appointments.
- How do I report a claim?
Report Recreational Marine claims by phone or fax to our Marine Claims Department in Wilmington, DE (Phone: 800 945-7461 / Fax: 877 746-4619). - Who do I call for underwriting/service?
For underwriting and service of both new and existing policies, please use the Recreational Marine Contacts link to find the ACE office that handles your agency based upon your state location.
- Where do I mail an application?
Completed applications for Recreational Marine insurance should be mailed to the regional underwriting office responsible for your agency. Please use the Recreational Marine Contacts link to obtain the mailing address of the regional office that handles your agency based upon your state location.
- What type of billing plans do you offer?
We offer both agency and direct bill options. Our direct bill payment options for a Small Boat, Yacht, Charter, Classic Boat and Performance Boat include:

- Who do I call to get answers to billing questions?
Please call the ACE Financial Center in Wilmington, Delaware for both direct bill and agency bill inquiries. The toll-free number is 877 490-7427. Listen to the voice prompt and select the appropriate option based upon whether your question is direct bill or agency bill related.
