ACE is awarded by Reactions Awards as Best M&A transaction in Latin America for Itaú in Brazil
Santiago - May 27, 2015 - The insurer ACE, was awarded in the third edition of the awards of the prestigious international organization of the industry, The Reactions Latin America Awards, for the Best M&A of the year for the transaction during 2014, when the company acquired the portfolio of large corporate accounts from Itaú Seguros in Brazil.
In addition, the company was nominated in two categories for "Best Insurer in Latin America" and "Central America reinsurer Panama ".
The Reactions Awards are recognized in the insurance industry as a respected program that distinguishes the achievements and excellence achieved by companies, teams and professionals. The profile and independence of its rigorous process of deliberation -carried out by a panel of senior industry analysts - involves a study of market performance of the nominees, of which derives its strategic importance.
Besides being nominated for the corporate categories, ACE was awarded two awards to Jorge Luis Cazar, Regional President of ACE Latin America and Vice-President of ACE Group in the categories "Latin America Insurance CEO" and "Latin America Most Influential Individual" .
The ceremony was held on May 26th at a gala dinner in Miami Beach, attended by leading industry executives and the global insurance market.
