ACE in the UK&I
With over 1,300 employees in 12 office, ACE has a strong presence in the UK & Ireland. We operate a highly customer-centric business model, including a robust relationship management structure for key accounts and claims and 20 dedicated business relationship managers.
ROLE PURPOSE
This role will work with all teams in the Operations function, providing a project management service for their larger projects, ensuring all Ace project disciplines are adhered to.
The role will also work with IT teams in other parts of Ace, acting as a liaison point to drive forward a more global approach to Infrastructure and Operations, particularly in the areas of Application Performance and cost efficiencies.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES
Co-ordination, planning and management of multiple IT Operations project deliverables.
Project Budget, Issues, Risks and Change Management, supported by regular status reporting packs.
Liaison and co-ordination with other regional IT teams (Asia Pacific, Latin America and Japan) to drive forward global initiatives such as Application Performance improvements and Cost Efficiencies.
Adherence to ACE project management methodology, lifecycle templates, and making contributions to improve overall delivery in terms of quality, timescales and cost effectiveness.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve delivery within time, cost and quality constraints, and ensure process reusability/repeatability
Ensuring that all aspects of the project are fully compliant with Sarbanes Oxley compliance regulations.
KNOWLEDGE
Minimum 5 O Levels / GCSE preferred but not essential.
EXPERIENCE
Very strong project management experience, combined with previous hands on experience within an IT operations environment.
Experience working in a global organization an advantage but not essential.
Proven communication, documentation, analytical & problem solving skills.
Self motivated, dynamic & customer focused individual.
